Sivan Talmor is an Israeli singer-songwriter. From a very early age Sivan has been singing and performing in numerous major scale musicals that have toured around Israel. Later on, after being a young TV host for a show on the children's channel, she became lead singer of the Israeli army band which performed hundreds of concerts within Israel and abroad (with tours in Australia, New Zealand, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Poland).
Over the course of her three years of study at Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music, Sivan began focusing on her own music. She started a band and began performing with them throughout the country, kick-starting her professional career as a singer and musician.
Over the last decade, she has collaborated with several of Israel's top artists in various concerts and tribute events, and the Hebrew song "Let's Leave Together," that she sang with Ran Danker, went on to be the 2007 "song of the year" in Israel.
In 2012, Sivan was a leading contestant on the top rated show "The Voice" in Israel, where she was a media favorite, receiving countless outstanding reviews. She later on performed with her mentor from the show, the well-known Israeli artist Aviv Geffen, on several occasions.
In addition to performing her own original music with her band, over the past four years Sivan has taken part in multiple poetry projects, including appearing with legendary Israeli poet Jonathan Geffen, singing for numerous poetry albums, and singing for the soundtrack of a play in the renowned Cameri Theater, all contributing to her establishing a major position for herself in Israel's music industry.
In 2013, Sivan released her debut album "Luna Park," sung in Hebrew, which was produced by Yoni Bloch. Her new album "FIRE," sung in English, is produced by Ori Winokur (also known for producing Asaf Avidan and the Mojos) is set to be released in February 2016. Her unique sound is accompanied by her own guitar, in addition to the sounds of electric guitar and keyboard played by the young indie duo Shelly and Rotem. Together, the three ladies create a distinct soft and feminine sound.
Sivan Talmor's exceptional vocal quality and unique sound has led her to become a well-known artist in Israel.
